뉴질랜드 영주권 신청자 '한시적 제도' 발표

지난 9월 29일 뉴질랜드 정부는 1년 6개월 넘게 멈추었던 영주권 심사 업무를 재개 한다고 발표 하였습니다.

 

지난 해 락다운 이후 국경이 봉쇄되고 영주권 관련 이민성 업무가 중단되었었는데, 오랫동안 마음 졸이며 기다린 분들에게는 좋은 결과가 있을 것으로 보입니다.

 

2021월 9월 30일에서 2022년 7월 31일 사이에(6개월 이상) 장기적으로 중대 목적의 비자로 뉴질랜드에 입국하는 사람들도 이 새로운 비자 제도를 통해 새로운 비자를 받을 수 있습니다. 파트너와 피부양자는 이러한 거주 비자 신청의 일부로 포함됩니다.

 

 

적격 신청자는 2021년 12월 1일부터 1단계, 나머지 적격자는 2022년 3월 1일부터 2단계로 새로운 제도 하의 영주권 신청이 가능해집니다.

 

락다운 이후 멈추었다 영주권 신청이 거의 2년만에 재개되면서 마음 졸이고 있던 많은 분들에게 좋은 소식이 될 것 같습니다.

 

현재 이미 신청된 영주권 신청자가 165,000명에 달한다고 하니 내년에 영주권 신청자분들의 행운을 빕니다.

이번 제도의 자격

• 2021년 9월 29일 현재 뉴질랜드에 거주하였고,
• 적격한 비자 소지하고 있거나, 나중에 승인될 적격한 비자를 2021년 9월 29일 이전에 신청한 신청자

 

또한

• 뉴질랜드에서 3년 혹은 그 이상을 거주했거나
• 임금 시간당 27달러 또는 그 이상을 받는 자
• 직종이 희소 목록에 있는 직업 종사자

 

자격 기준을 충족하지만 현재 호주에 있고 2021년 9월 29일까지 뉴질랜드에 돌아올 수 없는 경우 자격이 되는 것으로 간주됩니다.

 

단기 비자 소지자인 방문 비자, 학생 비자, 워킹 할러데이 비자, 공인된 계절 근로자의 경우는 자격에 포함되지 않습니다.

 

영주권 신청자에 한해서 이민성에서 신체검사나 엑스레이등의 추가 서류를 요구할수는 있습니다.

  Other critical workers for long term roles (more than 6 months)

 

Application process

The 2021 Resident Visa will be open for applications in two phases.

From 1 December 2021 you can apply if:

• you have already applied for residence under the Skilled Migrant and Residence from Work categories before 29 September 2021, or

• you have submitted a Skilled Migrant Category Expression of Interest (EOI), and have included your dependent child in the EOI aged 17 years or older on 29 September 2021.

Those who are eligible to apply from 1 December 2021 will receive an email from us by the end of October with further information.

From 1 March 2022 all other eligible applicants can apply, including those who have submitted a Skilled Migrant Category Expression of Interest.

More information about fees and the application process will be available by the end of October 2021.

All applications must be made by 31 July 2022.
